Boston Amazon Web Services Meetup – October 11th

We will be speaking at the Boston Amazon Web Services Meetup on October 11th.

Presentation Abstract: Richard Crane, Chief Architect and Technology Officer of MILL5, will discuss a soon-to-be-released PaaS offering [from MILL5] that will allow financial analysts, scientists, and developers to create REST-based services in the cloud to quickly expose models and applications. Currently models and applications can be uploaded using Java and MATLAB with future support for R, .NET, and Python.

We will examine various aspects of the architecture using AWS and how technologies such as ELB, SQS, S3, Lambda, consul, docker, and PostgreSQL fit within the architecture. We will discuss challenges such as service routing, discovery, and deployment.
